Coating increases tool’s lifetime from 2 to 5 times comparing to uncoated tools, but in case of recoating the lifetime goes up 8 to 10 times.

Does the coating improve the surface characteristics of the tool?

No, coating does not modify the surface characteristics of the tool, all these are unaltered.

What sizes can be coated?

Our equipment can take pieces to Ø500 mm x 500 mm with a maximum of 350Kg.

Can coatings be removed?

Yes, all coatings can be removed without harming the tool.

How thick is the coating?

Normally it’s about 2-5µm
